CoinGlass iOS Application

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2026

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 14, 2026 and describes how the current version of the CoinGlass iOS App handles personal information.

Summary. CoinGlass collects the information needed to provide accounts, market-data features, push notifications, analytics, and technical support. This includes account details, device and push identifiers, and product-interaction data. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the iOS App to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.

1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you use the CoinGlass application for iPhone or iPad, including related mobile features, application programming interfaces, and support services (collectively, the “App”).

“CoinGlass,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the legal entity identified as the seller of the CoinGlass App in the Apple App Store. For applicable data-protection laws, that entity is the controller of personal information handled for its own purposes.

This policy applies to the iOS App. A website or third-party service opened from the App may have its own privacy notice. Please read that notice before providing information to the third party.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and authentication information

When you create, access, or secure a CoinGlass account, we may collect:

2.2 Push-notification information

The App uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) together with Alibaba Cloud Mobile Push (AlicloudPush). To provide notifications, the App and these providers may process:

Notification permission is optional. iOS asks whether you allow notifications, and you can change that permission at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling notification permission prevents notification alerts from appearing, but it does not by itself erase information already retained by CoinGlass or its service providers.

2.3 Usage and analytics information

We collect information about how the App is used so we can understand feature performance and improve the App. This may include:

2.4 Preferences and App content

We may process watchlists, selected markets or assets, display preferences, language, theme, chart settings, and similar settings that you create. Some preferences remain only on your device; others may be synchronized with CoinGlass servers when needed to provide account-based features or notifications.

2.5 Communications and support

If you contact us, we collect the contact details and message content you provide, along with information needed to investigate and answer your request.

2.6 Information we do not request through the App

The current iOS App does not request precise GPS location, contacts, microphone, camera, health, or fitness information. The App does not ask you to provide a payment-card or bank account number.

3. How we obtain information

We obtain personal information:

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

6. Third-party services and SDKs

The App contains third-party software development kits (SDKs) and uses platform services. Their code may process information as described below. We require service providers to use personal information only for agreed services and to apply appropriate safeguards.

7. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

We do not publish your account information or push identifiers as public data. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may be used and disclosed for analytics, research, product improvement, and business operations.

8. Advertising and tracking

We do not sell personal information for money. The current iOS App does not use an advertising SDK, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and is not intended to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement. Google Analytics for Firebase is used for product analytics, not to send directly identifying CoinGlass account details for targeted advertising.

If we later introduce a practice that qualifies as tracking under Apple's rules or applicable law, we will update this policy, update the App Store privacy information, and obtain any permission required before tracking occurs.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above:

Backup copies and records needed to prevent fraud, enforce rights, or comply with law may remain for a limited additional period. When a retention period ends, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate the information.

10. International data transfers

CoinGlass and its service providers may process information in countries or regions other than the one where you live. Privacy laws in those locations may differ. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as data-processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

11. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted network transmission where supported. No system, network, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

12. Your choices and controls

Some information is necessary to provide requested features. If you do not provide it, the related account, sign-in, notification, or support feature may not work.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.

To exercise a right, email contact@coinglass.com and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

15. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without required parental authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, our service providers, legal requirements, or data practices. We will post the updated policy at a publicly accessible URL and revise the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice in the App or by other appropriate means, as required by applicable law.
